I had posted this on my other profiles, but forgot to post it here
I feel stupid for not doing so, since this is where I originally started posting my art work
I'll just copy and paste the posts I've made else where

Dear Monty,

You have done so much in my life and in the life of many others.
I've met so many friends through RWBY and you were/are such an inspiration.
You're the reason I wanted to get into animating, and now I'm going to a school where I'm learning how to animate.
My dream was to meet you and talk to you, tell you all you've done for me even though we don't even know each other.
I may just be a fan and didn't know you personally, but I can say you had a big impact on my life and you are one of the greatest people that I had the honor of looking up to
You will be missed so badly, and you will never be forgotten

We should also remember, that it just wasn't Monty's talent that made him so great... remember when Monty punched a lemon straight into some guys face.. or when he bought a new car because they found a dead baby bird in the windshield of his old one... or when he put the wrong soap in the dishwasher and Kara tweeted a picture of him mopping up the mess?
Good times

Monty always encouraged people to never give up on their ambitions, even when it seems like there's nothing there

Because of him I continued to make my art and hoped that it will flourish
I promise to work hard on my webcomic and have it bring just as much joy to people as Monty's creations have

Probably my last thought on today, but I feel like it should be said
With Monty's passing.. also came inspiration, and confidence
I've seen posts from people saying how hard they are going to try on their dreams, and work towards their ambitions, because that's what Monty always told us to do
He always wanted to see people never give up, and never give in
Everyone has gotten this new spark of creativity and motivation to do what they want to do... to not have to "work" another day in their life, but to earn satisfaction from doing what they love

"The effort you put forth to anything transcends yourself, for there is no futility even in death." -Monty Oum
